Lovers of the Chamonix Valley, Stella et Alain left their home in the Vercors to throw themselves into the renovation of a large chalet at the base of the Grands Montets to transform it into a « Charming Chalet Hotel »
With aged wood, warm tones, local works of artcollected over the years, fluffy duvets and pillows plumped to perfection, personalised decoration, they have tried to recreate the atmosphere of an alpine chalet.
 
Stella, Alain and their team’s aim is for you to feel “At Home” during your stay.
 
Because of it’s proximity to the ski slopes and the ski schools, the Hotel les Grands Montets is an ideal location for family holidays in the mountains. Children are made particularly welcome, with special meals, family rooms, an indoor swimming pool and a selection of games.

Alain, who is also a Ski instructor and keen mountain biker, will help you uncover hidden valleys, secret paths and a variety of mysterious cols in the local mountains.
 
Stella, a keen cross country skier, will advise you on the best routes & itineraries and on ideal options for walks and hikes and David will share with you his suggestions on the best restaurants and gastronomic experiences available locally.
